Passport Magazine Web Design

Passport Magazine

Project Info:

Don Tuthill, publisher of Passport Magazine asked me to redesign his magazine website as a freelancer. I agreed, selecting a custom Wordpress template that would help the writers and editors easily upload articles, as well as offering prime space for advertisers. His problem was that every time the team wanted to publish an article, they needed to contact an out of budget .php developer.

This project began while I was in NYC, and was completed while studying abroad in London, UK. It was a giant project because there were so many outdated .php articles that had been uploaded. We had to reroute all of the tens of thounsand links.

I redesigned the wordpress template as per the publshers requests using .php, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery. I coordinated with many advertisers and DFP embedding ads in certain sections upon request.
